Thanks to those who replied.
 
Should have mentioned we have a 100MB per sec limit on the Fast iron.
That's why gig ethernet copper is at 9mb per sec.
 
But the fibre card....
a mystery...
 
I tried a larger ftp ang got 9-5 MB per sec.
So the issue is with how the fibre card talks to the netbackup.
I will raise this with veritas, since we do have support.
 
I will get back to you for a summary, but this may take a few days/weeks.
