I found out what is causing the .patchDB corruption.
It's after I remove the big patch, 108528-29. I did this on another
machine yesterday, and the .patchDB immediately became corrupted. I
removed the same patch from a clone of that machine today and it again
happened. Anyone have experience with this issue? Here is some shell
