  Thanks to all who responded with valuable inputs. Here is a little
summary which has answers for all platforms:-

Most modern unix comes with ssh builtin. Otherwise download and install
openssh: http://www.openssh.org/

On windows i use putty:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
though the popular teraterm also has ssh support.

Modern MacOS comes with ssh builtin, for older you can try
http://www.macssh.com/ or google for alternatives.

You can always go with the costly alternative: http://www.ssh.com/
