Hello,
I recently upgraded an Ultra10 from Solaris7 to Solaris9, This machine
is my NIS server, Samba server, and an application server. All other users
on the network have no problem with their systems. The user who logs onto
this system reports very slow performance. Takes forever to open a terminal
window, applications run very slow. The only thing I can find is in dmesg:
Feb 9 09:12:46 enterprise inetd[171]: [ID 396432 daemon.warning]
'/usr/sbin/in.comsat' terminated due to signal 14 (Alarm Clock)
Any help would be appreciated, user keeps calling me complaining, big snow
storm coming tonight, and I start vacation Saturday!!!
