Hi gurus.
I've got an issue that on console serial ports. I got that one resolved, which I will summarize soon, but right now I have a more urgent matter. I'm upgrading to VxVM 3.5, and one of the dependencies is patch 110722-03. When I got to add it, I get this:
ROOT@crdb1-stage:[/tmp/volumemanager]# patchadd -u 110722-03
Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in
110722-03 are not installed on this system.
Patchadd is terminating.
ROOT@crdb1-stage:[/tmp/volumemanager]# ls
I tried first using the patchadd without the -u option. Didn't work. Used the -u option. Didn't work obviously. This looks like the patch is dependent on itself. This is strange. What can I do to get this patch installed? Please respond ASAP. Thanks.
