More: Finding which user su'd

I think I was not clear in my last post. I haven't got any reply so I
want to try it again. My original post was:
================================================================
We have several admins having access to a privileged perl script
(accessible only by root), and I'd like to record which admin ran the
script, as part of the script output.

However, env, set, id, etc. do not give me what the id was before "su -"
ing. Is there a good way to find out?
================================================================

I guess authlog and sulog may be seemingly obvious solution, but my
problem is that I have records of when each admin su'd, but in my perl
script, I can only tell that it's being run by root. I'd like to find out
who actually is running this script as root.

Probably I need to write my own script but just wanted to see if people
faced this situation and solved it before.

Thanks.

Ben
