booting from alternate disk

I've created duplicate disk (on target 1) using dd on E3500.
I've switched the duplicate disk from target 1 to target 0 but it won't boot
from the duplicate disk.

I found this query from the archive but no summary. I'm having similar problem.
How do I fix it?

Hi All,

I trying to make a root mirror disk of my existing Sun E3500 system. The steps I
am following are as given below

1) Firstly I create equivalent partitions on the mirror disk as those are
existing on the original disk
2) Then I dump all the filesystems ( /, /opt, / var, /usr) on the mirror disk
using ufsdump and ufsrestore.
3) Then I issue the installboot command so as to install the boot-block on the
root mirror disk.

Now when I try to boot the system with the root mirror disk created in the above
steps I get the error
"Invalid wwn number" and the systems panic putting back me to the ok> prompt.
I know this error is occuring because in Sun E3500 systems we have FC disks and
each FC disk has got its own wwn (World Wide Node) number. So my question is
that how can I overcome this problem and assign the same wwn number to my root
mirror disk as that is on my original root disk.

Any help in resolving the issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in Advance
