Mount problem with Veritas FS

I have below file systems and problem is strange..

/dev/vx/dsk/apollodg/vapps
                     10485760 3880195 6197900 39%
 /apps
/dev/vx/dsk/apollodg/vselprd
                     20971520 11097600 9256832 55%
  /apps/selprd
/dev/vx/dsk/apollodg/vscprod
                     10485760 3880195 6197900 39%
 /apps/finpd/SCPROD

While looking it looks all ok. But When I write to
/apps/finpd/SCPROD, it comes under /apps.

MNTTAB and VFSTAB is all ok...
Is it somethign known problem..how to rectify...I
would in term unmount and mount culprit..but what
could cause this problem...has any one come across..
