Problems with metadb after reboot

I recently updated my /etc/system file to add additional kernel
parameters. I put the updates outside of the "forceload" area since it
says to not edit. Even so, I think the update caused issues with the
metadbs on the system. What has to be done to remedy the situation?
Right now I cannot boot the server. I tried deleting one of the meta
dbs (shown below) and that did not work either.
