Hello,
I'm in the process of learning LDAP and I've installed DS 5.2 on a Solaris 9
box. The server is running, the admin server and console are running..
My problem is, I've added a user and given that user a password. When I try
to telnet to the box using the LDAP userid, it does not authenticate. My
logs complain about the lack of /var/ldap/ldap_client files. Aren't those
used for OpenLDAP?
Anyway, do I need to modify /etc/nsswitch.conf or pam.conf to have this
work? Or do I need to use ldapclient to creat the missing /var/ldap files? I
can't seem to find any documentation that spells all this out.
