Veritas Volume too big for UFS

Hi All

I created a Veritas volume of 1.5TB using VxVM 3.1.1 on Solaris 8 10/00.
But when I was trying to make a filesystem newfs says it is too big.

I am guessing I need to rebuild the Veritas Volume into two smaller
volumes before trying to make a UFS filesystem out of each new volume.

Please suggest.

Thanks
