Seagate LTO on 420r

Dear Managers,
I am trying to attach a Seagate Viper 200 Ultrium LTO to a 420r running
Sol 8. probe-scsi-all can see the tape drive but not the OS. Tape is
attached to the LVD on PCI1 slot. What am I missing?
