Hi folks,

I will soon be looking into a multi-tiered authentication model for a
network i am building and was thinking of using PAM to authenticate (the
Solaris' boxes anyway).

I'm interested in learning of others experience with running the OS and
applications authenticating via PAM, how integrated is PAM into Solaris,
etc?

I have a choice of being able to authenticate via AD or Radius (and
probably /etc/passwd for fallback during network outages, etc).

I understand 3rd party applications will be a mixed bag, but is most/all
of Sun's stuff PAM pluggable?
