mpxio and poor write performance to se6120

Does anyone know what the impact is from having mpxio-disable="no" set
in the /kernel/drv/scsi_vhci.conf file and not having any other path ?

I have a v240 using a 500 GB slice from a 6120 that has very poor write
performance (20-30 MB/sec). Other slices on this same array that are
connected to other servers do not have this problem (90-100MB/sec). At
one point, this v240 had a second HBA which explains having mpxio turned
on. It has since been removed leaving only one path but mpxio remains
on.

Would this cause write performance to suffer ? Reading doesn't seem to
be a problem.

Other than this, there are a couple of other possibilities. One is that
there is only about 9GB free out of the 500 GB (99% capacity). The other
is that I could try patching to the most recent level. I have another
v240 using another slice on the same array. It has mpxio disabled, has
lots of free space and has more recent patches applied. Both v240's are
identical in hardware, both solaris 9 ssame release but different patch
level.

Thanks.
