Network problems with Solaris 10

Hi all, I am not sure what I did wrong or why this is not working but here
is my problem.

I downloaded and installed Solaris 10 b69 on my Sun server.
My problem is that I can do nslookup to resolve hosts etc but my programs
such as ncftp do not work.

To illustrate my problem here is an example:
[13:33:14] @host: / > nslookup ftp.sunfreeware.com
nslookup is Obsolete. This command may be removed in a future Solaris
release. Equivalent functionality is provided by nslookup(1m) in
/usr/sfw/sbin.
Server: nycmny-dns-cac-06.rdc-nyc.rr.com
Address: 24.29.99.19

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: sunfreeware.com
Address: 66.193.208.66
Aliases: ftp.sunfreeware.com

So NSLOOKUP does work, now when I try to use ncftp for example it does not
resolve hostnames
[13:34:47] @host: / > ncftp ftp.sunfreeware.com
NcFTP 3.1.8 (Jul 10, 2004) by Mike Gleason (http://www.NcFTP.com/contact/).
Resolving ftp.sunfreeware.com...

Unknown host "ftp.sunfreeware.com".
ncftp>

I really do not know why is that or what do I need to change to get this
working. I downloaded all of my packages if any from sunfreeware.com.

Regards

Chris
