Running a Sunfire V440 server with solaris 8 02/04 with a A1000 disk array.
First we installed the drivers for raid manager 6.22.1 they seemed to
install properly. However when we run /usr/lib/osa/bin/genscsiconf we get
the error
cat: cannot open /etc/osa/mnf
We do not have a /etc/osa/mnf file is this something that should be
installed with the drivers? I have no idea what this file is or what it
does. Then apon reboot we get more errors.
error while creating disks RDAC symbolic links: unable to read /etc/osa/mnf
or create /tmp/disksmnf.95
generating rdriver.conf file ...
drvconfig: drive failed to attach: rdriver
Any suggestion on what to look for or what I am possibly missing would be
greatly appreciated. I will Summarize.
Thanks,
Jason
