inetd is not starting

Hi Managers,

I'm trying to start the inetd(/usr/sbin/inetd -s -t) process, but it is failed
to start. It's not starting when the system is booted.

SunOS xyz 5.8 Generic_108528-20 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80

Please help me, users are not able to connect to the server.
