Hi Gurus,

it may appear a stupid question.
What does the system refer to in this sentence taken from Sun Download
Center , does it refer to the browser or to the OS

"We use SSL <http://sun.com/software/download/faq.html#30> to protect
your information. We transmit your username and password securely and
encrypted once you click "Login". If your system does not support SSL,
please *turn security off*
<http://jsecom16b.sun.com:80/ECom/EComActionServlet/WelcomePage:%7E:com.sun.sunit.sdlc.content.WelcomeWebPageInfo;jsessionid=0BC5F8E7359550B5E83D682AA7337310?turnOffHttpSecurityId_1=>."

My problem is that I could no more go to the next page with mozilla
1.7.1 neither 1.7.3 nor firefox 1.0 if the security is enabled, I'm
always getting this error message "jsecom16b.sun.com could not be
found.Please check the name and try again".If I disable security things
go well.
I do not have this problem with Netscape4.76

For information I'm running Solaris 8.

Thks,

Rachid,
