Gurus,
A user came to you and say the server is slow !
you login to the machine and found high disk usage, high paging rate and
high wio % (using sar/vmstat/iostat).
The question:
How can I sort ps output by one of the following criteria:
- Process with high paging rate to be listed first.
- Process with high disk usage (or generally I/O ) to be listed first.
- Process causing high wio to be listed first.
If this can't be done using ps, any commercial/open source utility that can
do this ?
(I am using Solaris 9, on a busy multi purpose V880 machine -- Can't use
Proctool ! )
