On a Solaris 9 system I have a DiskSuite mirror which I cannot repair
following a failed disk replacement. I've tried working through the manuals
without success - probably because I'm unfamiliar with the use of soft
partitions (the config was set up by someone else.) I'm reluctant to
experiment further in case I damage the remaining sub-mirror. The
replacement drive is correctly partitioned and has valid replicas.
How do I change the state of d8 to Okay so I can then resync the submirror?
Thanks,
# /usr/sbin/metastat d9
