Hi Experts,
We have a VCS 3.5 2 node cluster installed a while ago running some service
groups (resources like IPMultinibB, disk , application etc). Now there is a
requirement to add SANPoint or Storage Foundataion HA to make a DG shareable
between the two nodes of the cluster.
I added the VRTScavf package (from SAN Point CD) - license was already there
and tried to configure using the cfgcluster config option - does NOT seem to
work - was on the phone with Veritas support for a long time. We tried various
options including manually tweaking the main.cf for the cvm group etc but to no
avail. Finally they inform me that if you want SAN Point we have to uninstall
everything - including Vxvm and VxFS - go to raw partition and reinstall the
using the installspfs script in the sanpoint cd (which will install vcs,
sanpoint , vxvm and vxfs packages).
Below is the packages snapsnot. does anybody had this sort of a problem and
if then how was it resolved??
