I have a Sunfire V880 machine running Solaris 9 that I am trying to lock the
Ethernet on it at 100mb. This is a GigE interface. My question is how do I
tell what device goes with this Ethernet card so I can lock it at 100mb. I
have the output from the ifconfig, prtdiag command and prtconf. According to
ifconfig the interface comes up as ce1 and this is the one configured to
reach the internet. This was automatically configured by someone else. Do I
run the ndd command on /dev/ce ? The example in the faq doesn't work because
I assume it's not an hme interface in the sunfire machine.
