Hi all,
A couple of questions relating to disksuite on Solaris 8.
We have just started using it on some of our servers that are due to replace
older ones very soon. I have built them up and installed disksuite to
mirror the internal disks ( it's a V480)
Leaving the machines in Single user mode the mirrors are Okay for a while
but then change status to Need Maintenance and I have to run metasync to
bring them back. Is this normal behaviour in single user mode? Will it stop
doing that once up and running properly?
I can't boot the servers fully yet until we attach the mass storage.
Also
I have metadevices d0 d1 d3 d5 d7 d5 shows in metastat as d3 but attached
to submirrors d15 and d25. It also responds as d5 for the commands but
displays as d3.
Any ideas?
