Looks like it stands for "Qlogic Ultra SCSI".

The only patch necessary, other than the ones recommended in the OS
installation, is the QUS Driver for the Sun StorEdge PCI Dual Ultra160 SCSI
Host Adapter. Perform the following procedures to download this patch:
