Hi sunmanagers,

We have a L100 SUN STOREDGE Tape Library attached to
a E4500 server. It has two tape drives. What happens is
that when we try to store data from the server to one
of the tapes in tape drive ( after ensuring tape is
rewinded and is at beginning), we get following
message that there is no sufficient space on tape.We
are getting this problem even when the total storage
space of the LTO tape is 200 Gb compressed and 100GB
un-compressed, it has been rewinded and data being
stored is much less than 100 GB.I noticed this with
both small(less than 1000 MBs) and large folders(less
than 80 GB).Also this happens with both tape drives
and different tapes and also I tried bt attaching tape
drive to another E4500.The error given in output 1
below is from ufsdump command while the error given in
Output 2 is from tar command.

Is this an issue with the tapes or tape drive?

Regards,
Hrishi.
