how to ufsdump a mirrored drive?

Guys,

I have to run ufsdump on a mirrored root drive, but
I don't know what is the recommended way to backup
the system.

1.) boot into single user mode and
than just to run ufsdump,

2.) boot into single user mode, take
the mirror offline and dump the offline
mirror,

3.) leave the system in full user mode take
the mirror drive offline and run ufsdump on the
offline mirror?

Or is there any other valid option?
