Solaris8 in.lpd and tcpwrapper 7.6

I am experiencing print failures when printing from a client, as reported by:

The job title was: testfile
   submitted from: 0.0.0.0
               at: Tue Nov 23 14:14:37 2004

encountered an error while printing on printer Test-HPLJ.
Printing stopped with an exit code of 1.

The client and the print server are both, Solaris 8 using IPv4. From syslog:
... PrtSrvr in.lpd ... connect from client

The print driver on PrtSrvr is a sh script which, for debugging, I trace the
execution. When printing locally from PrtSrvr, I see the script being
executed. However, when printing from client, the script never executes.

I suspect that this is due to 0.0.0.0 not being recognized as a valid host,
yet the hostname "client" is reported correctly is syslog. Also, I see an
empty directory created on PrtSrvr named "/var/spool/lp/tmp/0.0.0.0".

PrtSrvr's inetd.conf:
#printer stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/lib/print/in.lpd in.lpd
printer stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/etc/tcpd in.lpd

(Note. Before I changed from "tcp6" to "tcp", print failed with this message
in syslog: ... PrtSrvr in.lpd ... connect from 0.0.0.0 )

Internet searches offer some "hits that are close", but leave my unsure of
their success or impact. Has anyone experienced / corrected such a problem?

Ideas, suggestions, and / or recommendations are welcomed!
