Hi Gurus,
I have a E-450 machine with Solaris 8 running on it. If I want to do an
Audit trial on the system from the O.S side, how would I
do it in this circumstances.
1) If a user is logging in through the OS.
Here the answer may be using the "last" command to check for login &
logout or using "ps -fu"command to check his
process. But do we have any other utilities to find out what the user is
actually doing. I know a command called "script", but I
did not find anything very useful in the man pages to check what the user
is doing .
If any of you can put some more light on this would be useful to me.
2) If a user is logging in to the database through the SQLnet, where the
process shows (LOC=NO).
I know this is a job of a DBA, but is there any way to check from my
side, as a sysadmin.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Mangesh
