Hello,
we got a SUN Fire V240 with an SCSI-hostadapter SX6758A (Ultra 3
Differential SCSI ? )
where itr reads LVD -SE on the back of it. When I connect a Dell
tape-library PV 136T
( the same as ADIC Scalar 100 ) to it, probe-scsi shows the library and
both tapes
immediately after poweron.
boot -r doesn't connect the drives and probe-scsi yields "Bus error"
until poweroff.
If I connect the ibrary to the SCSI-connector on the motherboard, boot -r
finds both tapes, but not the robot. Have I got the wrong SCSI HBA ?
Do I need to install networker in order to see the robot ?
I changed the library sign-on from PV-136T to Scalar 100 already.
