Hi all,
Our security team runs security scans on our Solaris 2.8 systems and its
complaining about nlockmgr. The only info I can get is that it checks
the presence of a RPC
service and if not needed turn it off since its a low security risk.
However, I don't know if I'm using that service for anything and where
is started so I can turn it off. Does anyone know what this service is
used for and how do I stop it from starting up. Any help would be
appreciated.
