Gurus,
Samba on Solaris 8 is not working for me. Gives the following error.
ld.so.1: /usr/local/samba/bin/testparm: fatal: libsendfile.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory killed.
I found out that it requires a patch to be installed. but I cannot reboot the server after applying the patch. So I would like to know if there is any method of applying/installing the patches without rebooting the system.
