Hi folks,
We are faced with upgrading some disks in our production
environment. There is a debate as to whether or not we should go with
remanufactured drives in order to save money. Sigh. I think this is not
a good idea for production equipment, but management wants DATA to base
the decision on. I have yet to find any good concrete numbers on MTBF
comparisons. Does anyone have experience or data that they can share
with justification regarding this issue?
Thanks,
