Hi,
Does anyone know of a new x86 server platform that supports Solaris 7?
Our group is currently running version 7.31 of the Informix database
engine on 4-way Intel AD450NX and 2-way Intel G440GX servers. We were
hoping to upgrade our hardware to the HP ProLiant DL380 G3 or G4
servers, but those systems don't support Solaris 7. We tried installing
Informix 7.31 on Solaris 8 and 9, but encountered a problem with the
database engine that can't be resolved without a patch or upgrade from
Informix/IBM.
