unmirroring a drive so i can install solaris 9 on it

I have a 2 disk config that is mirrored with disksuite.
I plan to do a fresh install on solaris 9 on one of the drives.
after which i just wanna mount the other drive so i can copy files i
need for the solaris 9 install.

this is my metastat:
