My original 'update' appears to have never gone through, so let me try again...
I finally got a hold of the networking guys to determine exactly what they're
attempting to do. They're looking at not just 'IP multicasting' but more exactly
'IP multicast routing' using Solaris 8, without having to resort to using any
public domain software like mrouted. Does anyone know how this can be
accomplished?

How do you turn on/configure IP multicasting routing? I've checked google,
sunsolve and including this wonderful list's own archive and haven't been able
to find an answer.
The box that is being configured is an Ultra60 with IPv4 running Solaris 8. Any
pointers, like always, will be greatly appreciated.
