Hi Managers,
I'm trying to share a disk between two hosts via the metset command.
I ran 'metaset -s sqlset -a -h venus mars' succesfully.
Host mars is running Solaris 9 and venus is running Solaris 8. Both nodes
return the following:
# metastat
# metaset
Set name = sqlset, Set number = 1
Host Owner
venus
mars
When I try to add a device to the set:
On mars:
# metaset -s sqlset -a c1t3d0
metaset: venus: metad device info: RPC: Can't decode result
On venus:
# metaset -s sqlset -a c1t3d0
metaset: mars metad device info: RPC: Server can't decode arguments
The drive is accessiable to both hosts and .rhosts are setup and working.
# prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c1t3d0s2 |grep -v "^*"
0 0 00 0 17595900 17595899
2 5 01 0 17682084 17682083
7 0 00 17595900 86184 17682083
#
Any help is apprecaited.
Thanks,
-Greg
