Hi, everyone
We have a E3000 connected to a Brocade 8 port switch, to which
also connected an A5200 Storage Array. The problem is the E3000
couldn't find disks on the A5200.
We telneted to the Bracade switch , issued 'nsshow' command,
showed that the port connect to E3000 in private loop state, while
the port to A5200 in public loop state.
>From the prtdiag command we noticed the product number of the
HBA card on the E3000 is 501-3060, FC100/S, Can anyone tell me
if this card can support fabric or public loop ? it it can , how to configure
it. or if it doesn't , only support private loop, can you recommend another
model of HBA card, which can be easily bought from a second hand
market , that can support public loop or fabric , and of course in SBUS
style?
How about X6757A ? Can X6757A support public loop or fabric , and
compatible with E3000 or E3500 ? Except this E3000, we also have several
E3500 need to be connected to fabric switch.
