Hi All,
I have two V240 cross-connected via scsi to two 3310 raid arrays,
on node 1 i have
sccli> show luns
Ch Tgt LUN ld/lv ID-Partition Assigned Filter Map
--------------------------------------------------------------
1 0 0 ld0 1B6F245E-00 Primary
3 5 0 ld0 1B6F245E-00 Primary
on node 2 i have
sccli> show luns
Ch Tgt LUN ld/lv ID-Partition Assigned Filter Map
--------------------------------------------------------------
1 0 0 ld0 1B6F245E-00 Primary
3 5 0 ld0 1B6F245E-00 Primary
I thought this made sense.
However i come to metsup a metaset
adding the hosts was fine
#metaset
Set name = oradisks, Set number = 1
Host Owner
node1
node2
However when i try to add the disks
# metaset -s obeoradisks -a c3t5d0 c5t5d0
metaset: obeora2: c3t5d0s0: No such file or directory
I assume due to fact the scsi chains appear different on either host so
the disks show as differnent device names,
see format outs
Node1
2. c3t5d0 <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 34746 alt 2 hd 127 sec 64>
/pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@4/sd@5,0
3. c5t5d0 <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 34746 alt 2 hd 127 sec 64>
/pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4/sd@5,0
Node2
2. c3t0d0 <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 34746 alt 2 hd 127 sec 64>
/pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@4/sd@0,0
3. c5t0d0 <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 34746 alt 2 hd 127 sec 64>
/pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4/sd@0,0
This due to the LUN config on the Channel 1's ? - I think so - so
Anyway to edit these via sccli ? to make them both t5
Thanks
Laurence
