Hi All

How do I remove a patch without the original files? I am trying to
install Patch_Manager_2.0 but it complains about a patch that is
installed at a higher revision.

/opt/src/Patch_Manager_2.0 514 # ./pmsetup

Installing Patch Manager 2.0 ...

Installing required Solaris patch(es) for Patch Manager...

117679-01

Checking installed patches...
Executing prepatch script...
This patch requires the installation of patch 112945-27. A higher or
lower revision (112945-28) is currently installed. This version of the
required patch is incompatible with this revision of the Patch Manager 2
point patch.

You must remove any revision of patch 112945 that is higher or lower
than the required version and install the required version before
continuing with the installation of this patch.

The prepatch script exited with return code 1.

Patchadd is terminating.

PM Installation failed.

/opt/src/Patch_Manager_2.0 515 # patchrm 112945-28

Checking installed patches...

Patch 112945-28 was installed without backing up the original files.
It cannot be backed out.

Patchrm is terminating.

Thanks
