Can't start X session

I have a 280R with solaris 9 and an PGX 64 graphics card installed.
On boot up I get this error

consconfig: [ID 367632 kern.notice] Can't find driver for console framebuffer

and it says

Can't start X session.

Consequently, I can't start an X session, CDE etc.

I have these packages installed

pkginfo |grep SUNWm64
system SUNWm64 M64 Graphics System Software/Device Driver
application SUNWm64cf M64 Graphics Configuration Software
application SUNWm64w M64 Graphics Window System Support
system SUNWm64x M64 Graphics System Software/Device Driver (64-bit)
system SUNWm64xr M64XR System Software (Device Driver Config.)

I've done boot -r but
still get the errors.

Here's some info
# eeprom output-device
output-device=screen
# prtconf -F
Console output device is not a frame buffer
# ls -lL /dev/fb*
crw------- 1 root other 28, 0 Sep 22 2003 /dev/fb
crw------- 1 root other 28, 0 Sep 22 2003 /dev/fb0

Thanks,
Dave Martini
