creating big swap space

Gurus,

I'll be creating a 16gb swap space on our server. I am
thinking which one is better, create a one 16gb swap
volume (Under Veritas VM) or create chunks of swap
volumes (i.e 2x8gb or 4x4gb). What are the advantage
of doing one over another?
