Hi,

I have errors in my root disk. I have disksuite
installed and metarooted the disk. I want to know the
exact procedure of replacing the faulty disk.
It's been long back I have worked on Solstice.
my metastat is as below:

# metastat -p
d10 -m d11 d12 1
d11 1 1 c0t0d0s0
d12 1 1 c0t1d0s0
d20 -m d21 d22 1
d21 1 1 c0t0d0s1
d22 1 1 c0t1d0s1.

entry in vfstab
/dev/md/dsk/d20 - -
         swap - no -

/dev/md/dsk/d10 /dev/md/rdsk/d10 /
         ufs 1 no -

How to know if disk is mirrored or not.
Please let me know how to remove the disk from config.

How to add new disk in this back.

Thanks a lot in advance

I will surely summerize..

Thanks
Prashant

Please send as much input as possible.
