DVD Duplicators/Media?

Greetings again folks,

Apologies in advance for the semi-offtopic question, but I've gotten the
best responses to questions from this forum. My problem: The Solaris
JumpStart DVDs that I'm sending out to the field are having problems after
only a short while. More specifically, the DVDs will work successfully for
a week or two, then start failing halfway through a load. At first I blamed
scratches, but the problem started occurring more and more and has become
the norm rather than the exception. I'm suspicious of both the media and
the duplicator that I use for various reasons, and have faith in neither.
I'd appreciate any comments on problems with the type of media and
duplicator I'm using (see below). I've also griped long and loud enough to
now have my pick of a new duplicator and media without regard to expense,
and would appreciate any suggestions/comments as to what to purchase.

Current Duplicator: From Octave Systems, 8 Bay Copy Master DVD+R/-R
Current Media: Maxell DVD-R for Data/Video

Long story short: I'd like to solicit any suggestions/comments for
purchasing a high quality DVD duplicator and media for use therein.

Thanks in advance.

cheers,
Chuck
