Q: 3rd Party PCI based ATA {SATA?} controllers for Sparc (?)

Lame HW question, but I've trawled the archives / google / Sun pages -
all to no avail.

Has anyone actually *used* & can recommend a PCI IDE (ATA) [or even
SATA] controller card, to be used for non-boot / non-high-performance
addition of storage into a sunsparc machine ? In theory I know such
things should exist, and maybe even I can use a "generic chipset" one -
iff I choose the "correct" chipset (ie, same as used on blade100 for
instance?) -- but I'm having trouble finding info to clear this up.

Given the extreme economy of 200 gig IDE disks (heck, even 120gig for
older controllers limited to ~<137gb..) ... it is a very tempting way to
add "misc local storage" to a small development [Sparc] box that lacks
internal IDE currently.

Many thanks,
