Hi, I know "never change a running system" but
I upgraded the system to Solaris 9 (just my working station)
an d I am not able to install Ximian Gnome.
The installer asks the system for the version number and of course the
system
returns 5.9 (bad programming) and the installer quits with the message:
"this distribution is not supported by Ximian, please see
http://www.ximian.com for your distribution".
Unfortunately there is noch source code for the installer (as I know) and
the installer is not a shell script.
Do you know a way handle this?
PS. I need Gnome due the Evolution mail client
