I am trying to run a master script as user 1 which requires to su to user 2 to
run a subsequent script. NB Running the subsequent script from interactively
from the prompt of user 2 works fine.
User 1 uses the bourne shell and User 2 uses the c shell.
The following is output to the screen and returns me back to the user 1 on
execution of the master script as user 1:
Execute master cshrc
stty: : Inappropriate ioctl for device
`tty`: Ambiguous
logout
The .login file for the user 2 contains the line "stty -istrip".
Is this what is causing the problem and if so how can this be ignored when the
script is being run in a non-interactive session?
thanks,
