Solaris Jumpstart and Veritas VxVM 4.0, encapsulation

Hello everyone,

in our company we have a jumpstart-install-server which helps us to
install solaris on our servers.
During the installation-process we encapsulate the rootdisk with
"vxencap".

The way we use here is:
- vxconfigd -m disable
- vxdctl init
- rm /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/install-db
- fmthard -d 3:0:0:0:0 /dev/rdsk/"$ROOTMIRROR"s2
- fmthard -d 4:0:0:0:0 /dev/rdsk/"$ROOTMIRROR"s2
- vxencap -c -g rootdg rootdisk=$ROOTDEV

If we don't use the fmthard-commands and the mirrordisk $ROOTMIRROR
contains an old veritas configuration (old rootdg from the last
installation) we got following error-messages during the next reboot
(initiated through vxencap) (ROOTDEV=c0t0d0=vx-rootdisk;
ROOTMIRROR=c0t1d0;):

Does anybody know a second way to configure the encapsulation-process
without the fmthard-commands for Veritas VxVM 4.0?
I will summarize!

Mit freundlichen Gr|_en
