Good Morning Sunmanagers,

We have a V480 with Solaris 8 attached to a 3310 Array. The array went
offline and so far we replaced drive 3 which caused that drive to go from
critical to offline but will not rebuild. We have the latest firmware
installed. The SSConsole shows the following:

SSConsole

IP address (Red failure symbol to left indicating failure)
Ch0 Id0 Sun Storage 3310 Array
    (Secondary) Sun Storage 3310
    Array Ch0 Id14
(Primary) Sun Storage 3310 Array (Red failure symbol to left
indicating failure)
        Ch 0 ID4
            Logical Drive 0 RAID5
            (Array Ch-0 ID1 Ready status)
Array Ch-0 ID1 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID2 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID5 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID8 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID9 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID10 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID11 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID12 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID13 Ready status
Array Ch-0 ID4 (Red failure symbol) Standy Mode status=good
Array Ch-0 ID0 (Red failure symbol) status=ready
Array Ch-0 ID3 (Red failure symbol) status=offline *********Replaced with
new drive before it was showing critical and shaded out.

We normally set ID13 global spare. Any suggestions?? We did try a reset on
the controller after replacing drive.

Thanks,

Bob
