Xfig exporting to eps

Hi Gurus,
I have a weirdo... some of my users have been using xfig to create
images and export them to eps, unfortunately, since they migrate to
Solaris 9 on the workstation (even they are using the application from a
mounted FS, they get this:

Error during EXPORT. Messages:
ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/fig2dev.orig: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/bin/fig2dev.orig: symbol __register_frame_info: referenced
symbol not found
Killed

I already try reinstalling libraries like libiconv, glib, xfig itself...

Any ideas/help will be greatly appreciated...
