On Solaris 8, when a NIS account is disabled (putting !! in their NIS
passwd field) and a user's screen is locked with /usr/dt/bin/dtscreen,
the user isn't able to get back in even after their account is
re-enabled (ie, !! is removed). User can login via telnet/ssh just fine.
CDE seems to be caching the passwd entry, because the problem persists
even if I kill nscd.
I've been able to help users by entering the root password, which
brings up their session again. But if they lock the screen again without
logging out/in first, the problem persists. Any workarounds?
